Cristiano Ronaldo scores twice as Portugal ease past Turkey

Portugal have booked their place in the last 16 of Euro 2024 with a comfortable 3-0 win over Turkey in Dortmund.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice for Portugal, with Diogo Jota also on target as Fernando Santos' side made it two wins from two in Group B.

Turkey, who have now lost all four of their matches against Portugal at the European Championship by an aggregate score of 8-0, remain bottom of the group and face an uphill task to qualify for the knockout stages.

Portugal started the game brightly and took the lead after just 15 minutes when Ronaldo headed home Joao Cancelo's cross.
